The American version of the Lion Head has straight ears. The Lion Head breeds also comes lop ears. The Lion Head lops are a lop rabbit with a mane around their head, neck and ears. The Lion Head lops is a hybrid rabbit created by crossing a Lion Head rabbit with a Holland Lop. Lion Head crossed with a Mini Rex are referred to as a Velvet Lion Head.
