The English Lops were created in the early 1800's . The English Lop is one of the oldest breeds of domestic lop rabbits that is still around. The English Lops were the first of the loped - eared breeds. The English Lops are known for their long ears. The ears of an adult English Lop can measure more than twenty inches long in length. They can weigh nine to ten pounds. Their temperament is loving and calm. They have a great disposition. The English Lops come in broken color and solid color patterns.
The French Lops were created in France in the 1800's from the English Lops and the Flemish Giants. The French Lops are different from English Lops. They are heavier in weight and they have shorter ears. The French Lops weighs about ten pounds.They come in broken color and solid color and they can be found in many different colors. The French Lops are a close relative of the English Lops. They temperament is calm, sociable and affectionate. The French Lops are big sweet hearts.
The Holland Lops were created in Holland in the 1960's. The Holland Lops are known as the Netherland Dwarf Lop. The small compact Holland Lop weighs four pounds. The Holland Lop is a dwarf breed of the lop rabbits. The Holland Lop comes in broken color, pointed white , self, solid color, shaded and ticked. They are ver gentel and docile.
The Mini Lop rabbits were created in the 1970's in Germany. The Mini Lops were orgignally called the Klein Ridder their name was changed in the 1980's. The Mini Lops comes in broken color, white, shelf, shaded, solid color and ticked. The Mini Lops are calm, friendly and even tempered.
