Rabbit Breeds

There are so many different rabbit breeds you can choose from to be your pet rabbit. Rabbit breeds come in so many different colors, fur types, different sizes and shapes.

The different rabbit breeds are:

The American rabbit breeds are a meduim size rabbit breed weighing about ten pounds. The American rabbit breed is compact in size and comes in two colors blue or white. The blue version has blue gray eyes and the white version has pink eyes.The American

The Angora rabbit breeds come in four types :

• The English Angora
• The French Angora
• The Giant  Angora
• The Satan Angora

The Chinchilla rabbit breeds comes in three breeds. All three breeds have the coloring of an actual Chinchilla. They are  popular pets because of their nice looking fur coat.

• The Standard Chinchilla weighs about six pounds. They have a meduim body with a slight arch to their back.
• The American Chinchilla is the middle weight coming in about ten pounds.
• The Giant Chinchilla is a cross breed between the Flemish Giants and the smaller Chinchilla. The Giant Chinchilla makes a nice large pet weighing about fourteen pounds.

The Harlequin rabbit breeds are an interesting medium size rabbit of eight pounds. With different interesting markings they come in two color groups and four colors. The Harlequin is described as having an ice cream sunday look to their coat. Different colors swirl and blended in. The heads of the Harlequin rabbit breeds are split in half by color making them look like a different rabbit from one side to the other side of their face. The two types of Harelquin rabbits breeds that exists are:

• The Japanese Harelequin
• The Magpie Harelequin

The rabbit breeds are the most easily recongnizable of all the breeds. The Lops have big ears that flop down beside their heads giving them a special look to them. Along with their big ears comes a neat loveable, affectionate personality . The Lops are known to be people oriented Lops are amazing, amusing rabbits to live with. The Lops are very affectionate and sensitive to their owners feelings. The Lops come in four different rabbit breeds.
